■ Caring for Destinations: The Bedrock of Sustainable CommunitiesWith travel now easier and more accessible than ever, reflecting on how we behave as visitors has never been more crucial. “Touristship”—the mindset of caring for travel destinations and fellow travelers—isn't just for tourists. It’s a shared value meant for everyone, including the people who live there.

To welcome the growing number of international visitors to Japan, Touristship has been sharing local etiquette in a clear, engaging way through their platform.ホーム – Touristship
At JARTA, we support the creation of sustainable tourism destinations.
While building tourism systems that don't overburden local communities is essential, having "Touristship" in the hearts of individual visitors is what truly matters. When travelers genuinely care about the places they visit and the locals they meet, it goes beyond surface-level etiquette. It naturally sparks a personal commitment to protecting rich natural environments and boosting local lives and economies.
■ JARTA’s Slogan and the Positive Cycle of Touristship,Our slogan at JARTA is: “Bringing tourism to the world where both travelers and local communities thrive in happiness.”
A tourism destination where the rich natural environment is protected, the local community is revitalized, and everyone—both residents and visitors—can smile. The driving force behind this ideal future is none other than the spirit of Touristship.
From the perspective of sustainable community development, we will continue to support and collaborate with activities that expand this wonderful circle of compassion to the world.
