[Media Feature] Waste Management Countermeasures for Overtourism: From the Perspective of Sustainable Tourism

この度、公益社団法人全国都市清掃会議より、機関誌『都市清掃』（年6回発行）への寄稿依頼をいただき、国際認証部の渋谷が「オーバーツーリズムに係る廃棄物対策 ― サステナブルツーリズムの視点から ―」と題した記事を執筆いたしました。　　

The newly published Issue No. 392 of Toshi Seisou marks the very first time the journal has featured "Overtourism" as its central theme.

Waste issues are deeply intertwined with tourism. In this article, we introduce concrete examples, including the core concepts of sustainable tourism, the criteria for "Green Key" certification, and how to utilize the "Touristship Behavior Collection."We believe that by having travelers, businesses, and local residents each play their part and implement proper management based on the spirit of "Touristship," communities can achieve both sustainable development and regional preservation.
