JARTA Members
JARTA brings together visionary travel companies striving to transition toward moderate, responsible tourism. Our goal is to maximize the return of economic benefits to the destinations we visit, gain the support of a broader base of local residents, and develop unique regional travel products.
Membership Eligibility: Common to All Members
〇 Individuals or corporate entities that maintain and implement a sustainable management control system tailored to the scale and actual conditions of their business, or those who declare an active commitment to the following principles
- We will work to build a sustainable management organization to preserve beautiful Japan for future generations.

- We will convey the charm of our nation's cultural heritage and contribute to minimizing negative impacts.
- We will contribute to environmental conservation and strive to minimize our environmental footprint.
- We will aim for management that leads to guest satisfaction, and make efforts to expand the circle of JARTA among fellow operators and stakeholders.
〇 Appoint a Sustainability Coordinator for each business office.
〇 Actively participate in events and other projects associated with this association, and contribute to information sharing and business activities within the travel industry to achieve the objectives of this association.
Membership Eligibility: Full Members
〇 Individuals or corporate entities registered and operating under the Travel Agency Act who endorse and actively support the objectives of this association.
〇 Those who have obtained approval from the Board of Directors.
〇 The Sustainability Coordinator must complete the JARTA Basic Training or an equivalent training program prior to enrollment or within two years after joining.
Membership Eligibility: Supporting Members
〇 Individuals or entities that fall under any of the following categories:
①Individuals or corporate entities registered and operating under the Travel Agency Act who endorse and actively support the objectives of this association.
②Tour operators, individuals, or corporate entities promoting tourism who endorse and actively support the objectives of this association.
③Overseas-registered travel or tourism-related corporate entities that handle Japan as a travel destination, and who endorse and actively support the objectives of this association.
Membership Fees

Admission Fee: 100,000 yen Annual Membership Fee: 50,000 yen (English designation: JARTA member)
If multiple business offices are registered, an additional annual fee of 30,000 yen $\times$ the number of subordinate offices will be applied.

Admission Fee: None Annual Membership Fee: 50,000 yen (English designation: JARTA partner)
※ When joining as a corporate entity, membership is processed on a per-corporation basis (enrollment by individual business offices is not permitted).
※ For members joining mid-fiscal year, a pro-rated monthly fee will apply.
